I needed a cake for my nieces engagement/meet the families gathering! I contacted a popular place in Brooklyn but they were very unprofessional and I didn’t trust working with them. Empire Cake saved the day by making a delicious red velvet cake in 24 hours. They responded to my email promptly, were fast, professional and the cake was DELICIOUS!! I highly recommend this cute shop for all of your sweet treats!! Sincerely, A New Customer for Life

I ordered a cake from Empire Cake for my husband’s birthday. I have to say that not only was it gorgeous, it was one of the best tasting cakes I have ever had, no exaggeration (it was the Liz Lemon). They delivered it on time to the restaurant hosting the party without any issue too. Highly recommend this bakery!

Cute little pastry shop we found today. They have a lot of options, but the raspberry lemon cupcake was my favorite so delicious, the combination of flavors really well balanced, the cappuccino was good too. They also have super cute candles, birthday cards, cake toppers everything you need for a last minute birthday party. The staff is super friendly! If I’m in the are I’ll definitely come back!

One of my favorite places for cakes and other baked goods in the city. I love their snack cakes especially the red velvet ones. This place makes really good red velvet anything (cake, cupcake…etc.) It’s so good. I also love their take on the Italian rainbow cake and the pecan bars are great as well. Definitely a must try for dessert lovers or if you’re looking for something sweet.

Tried their vanilla cupcake. The cake was ok, not too greasy or buttery but the frosting was terrible. It felt stodgy and neither sweet nor good.

The pastries and desserts are as good as ever! I was looking for the peanut butter little cake but they didn’t have it, got the Brooklyn blackout instead and it was soooo soft and delicious!!! Also got the mini black and white cookies and the pistachio cookies. SO GOOD! worth the trek from Jersey. Love this place, hope to come back for more in the new year.

I had some cookies (multiple flavors I couldn’t decide 🤷‍♀️) and they were amazing! The texture is slightly crisp but soft on the inside, the flavor is great, not too sweet. I also had the black and white cake which was airy and fresh inside, just delightful. Great flavor to everything, great texture, and the workers are also super nice!

Simply the best cake shop in the city! Empire Cake has now made 2 custom cakes for us, one of which was to celebrate my fiancés birthday/job and one to celebrate our engagement. They worked with me on design for the Google cake and created the exact same ring box that my Tiffany engagement ring has. They also worked in a tightened deadline because I forgot about my own party! The employees are always friendly and their artistic work cannot be matched. Can’t wait to order our next cake! Maybe we will order our wedding cake here too!
